Role Overview:

Become a vital part of our new mixed NHS/private dental practice as a Senior Dental Nurse. You will provide advanced clinical support and leadership, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Excellence: Assist with restorative and preventive procedures while upholding asepsis and patient dignity.
• Governance: Lead infection prevention and control initiatives; conduct audits; ensure compliance with CQC and GDC standards.
• Leadership: Supervise the nursing team; conduct performance appraisals; support recruitment and training efforts.
• Operational Productivity: Ensure efficient preparation of surgeries and effective resource management.
• Patient Experience: Deliver compassionate care and promote preventive oral health practices.

Requirements:

• NEBDN National Diploma or equivalent; GDC registration
• Significant experience in a busy dental setting; proven leadership abilities
• Knowledge of HTM 01-05, CQC standards, and infection control protocols
